Play Spider Solitaire Online

Welcome to Spider Solitaire, one of the most popular and challenging two-deck patience games. Your goal is to assemble 13 cards of a suit, in ascending sequence from King down to Ace. Once a full suit is assembled, it automatically moves to the foundations.

Choose Your Difficulty

Spider is famous for its flexible difficulty levels:

  • 1 Suit (Easy): Played exclusively with Spades. Best for beginners, highly winnable.
  • 2 Suits (Medium): Played with Spades and Hearts. You can move mixed-suit sequences, but you must build same-suit sequences to clear them. A great balance of strategy and fun.
  • 4 Suits (Hard): Played with all four standard suits. Only for true Solitaire masters!

How to Play Spider Solitaire

  1. Building Sequences: You can move a face-up card to any column whose top card is exactly one rank higher (e.g., place a 7 on an 8), regardless of suit or color.
  2. Moving Stacks: You may only drag a stack of cards if they are all in descending order and of the exact same suit.
  3. Dealing New Cards: When you run out of moves, click the stock pile in the top-left to deal a new row of 10 cards (one to each column). Note: You cannot deal if any column is completely empty!
  4. Empty Columns: An empty tableau spot can be filled with any card or valid same-suit sequence.
  5. Auto-Completion: The moment you complete a perfect King-to-Ace descending sequence of the same suit, the game will automatically clear it from the board. Clear all 8 suits to win!
