Winning Solitaire Strategies
Solitaire is more than just a game of luck. While the draw of the cards plays a huge role, applying the right strategies can significantly increase your win rate. Whether you are playing Classic Klondike or testing your reflexes in Neon Blitz mode, keep these tips in mind.
1. Always Expose Hidden Cards First
Your primary goal in the early game should be to uncover the hidden, face-down cards in your tableau columns. The more cards you expose, the more options you have. If you have a choice between moving a card from the deck or moving a card from a tableau column, always choose the tableau.
2. Don't Empty a Spot Without a King
An empty column in Solitaire can only be filled by a King. If you clear out a column but don't have a King ready to drop into it, you've wasted a valuable space. Wait until you have a King (preferably one that has hidden cards beneath it) before you empty a slot.

Whenever you uncover an Ace or a Two, move it to the foundation piles immediately. They are of no use in the tableau and will only block other cards. However, be careful about moving 3s, 4s, and 5s too quickly, as you might need them to maneuver cards in the tableau.
4. Manage the Deck Carefully
In standard Klondike, you draw three cards at a time. This means the order in which you pull cards from the deck matters. Sometimes it is smarter to leave a playable card in the deck for your next pass, as pulling it might alter the order of the remaining cards and ruin your next draw.
